Tzofim Aleph will host our six Israeli campers from the Sderot region.
Tzofim Bet will be divided by grade, with separate programming and housing for 7th and 8th graders. |
Kadimah |
July 4 – August 8 |
Five Weeks |
9th Grade |
|
This unique 5-week program focuses on community building. Kadimah means "moving forward", and each aspect of the program - climbing the Kadimah wall, performing a play, leading a Shabbat and canoeing the St. Croix river - reinforces this idea. These young adults explore their Jewish identity, learn the value of a Jewish community, and move forward as camp leaders. |
B’yachad |
June 27 – August 8 |
Six Weeks |
10th Grade |
|
B'yachad is a 6-week leadership development program based on the three rings of Avodah (work), Community Service, and Leadership. Translated as "together" in Hebrew, the B'yachad campers create and build special projects around camp and participate in community service projects in camp and in the small towns surrounding camp. This program builds on a spirit of communal growth and learning. A program highlight is a community service focused overnight trip. B'yachad is a perfect summer experience for young people looking to grow as leaders at Herzl Camp and in their communities. |
Teva Trek |
June 18 – July 16 |
