Taste of Herzl |
June 14 – June 21 |
One Week |
3rd - 4th Grade |
|
| Our youngest campers love to get a “taste” of nearly everything that Herzl Camp has to offer. Waterfront, Amanut (arts & crafts), sports, T’fillot, and evening programs give this group a great introduction to the summer camp experience, while their creation of a special camp-wide performance is an annual highlight.
|
Noar |
June 14 – June 28 |
Two weeks |
4th Grade |
$1550 |
| This program gives Noar, meaning “youth,” two weeks to take part in all of Herzl Camp’s treasures- great evening programs, Ruach sessions, and daily chugim (activities). Campers will have the opportunity to choose chugim like swimming, sports and amanut. With an emphasis on special Tzrif (cabin) time, these campers make lasting friendships and memories.
|
Chalutzim Aleph |
June 14 – June 28 |
Two weeks |
5th - 6th Grade |
$1550 |
Chalutzim Bet |
June 30 – July 13 |

$1550 |
Chalutzim Aleph/Bet |
June 14 – July 13 |
Four weeks |
5th - 6th Grade |
$3000 ($100 discount) |
| These “pioneers” experience Herzl Camp by focusing on learning new skills, gaining new friends and expanding their Jewish identity. An overnight camping trip, engaging programming and daily chugim (activities) make each day a new adventure. Campers that choose the four week session will be integrated throughout the program with the other two week campers and can look forward to a month of fun, unique programs, great staff and different experiences.

Ha’atid |
July 14 – August 4 |
Three Weeks |
5th - 6th Grade |
|
| “The future” of Herzl Camp and of the Jewish community, this program provides our 5th and 6th graders with plenty of room to grow and learn- be it through rock climbing, challenge course, swimming, sports or scouting. Great staff and creative programming make each day unique and full of fun.
|
Tzofim Aleph |
June 14 – July 13 |
Four Weeks |
|
|
Tzofim Bet |
July 14 – August 4 |
Three Weeks |
7th - 8th Grade |
$2430
|
| The Tzofim program provides a fantastic camping experience for both veteran and new campers. Campers have their choice of chugim (activities) such as lake swim, sailing and World League of Herzl Sports. A highlight of the Tzofim Program is an overnight experience featuring camping, group bonding, outdoor cooking, and a day at Wild Mountain Water Park. For those studying for an upcoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah, our talented staff is available for tutoring. |
Kadimah |
June 30 – August 4 |
Five Weeks |
9th Grade |
$3990
|
| This unique program places a strong emphasis on coming together as a group. Everything the Kadimahnicks do - climbing the wall, performing a play, leading a Shabbat and canoeing the St. Croix river- is about moving this group Kadimah, “forward.” These young adults become camp leaders while exploring their own Jewish identity. |
Nilakot |
July 14 – August 4 |
Three Weeks |
9th - 10th Grade |
$2395
|
| Nilakot (an acronym for Notein L’Kehillah - giving to the
community) is an exciting program that provides an alternate three
week option to our oldest campers. With an emphasis on community
building, campers will participate in Tikun Olam (repairing the world)
projects both at camp and in the local surrounding communities.
Nilkaot is highlighted by in depth arts, sports and outdoor
programming. Campers participate in daily chugim along with a variety
of special guests and an overnight camping trip. |
B’yachad |
June 23 – August 4 |
Six Weeks |
10th Graders |
|
| This rich program is based off the three-rings of B’yachad.
The first ring, Avodah (work) involves building and creating special
projects around Herzl Camp. Community service, the second ring,
provides the Yachers with an opportunity to work with both the camp
community and in the town of Webster. The last ring, Leadership, is
developed as the group participates in a leadership training program.
The Yachers work hard and play hard “together” as demonstrated by
their optional life-guard training program. A brand new out of camp
trip will encompass all three rings of B’yachad with a focus on
Community Service. |
Teva Trek |
June 14 – July 13 |
Four Weeks |
10th - 11th Grade |
|
This unique program provides the best of two worlds- participating in regular camp programming while experiencing the adventure of a lifetime on a wilderness trip. As they prepare for their 7-day camping trip of rock-climbing and Voyageur canoeing (think John Smith and Pocahontas!), Teva Trek campers will gain a sense of outdoor adventure and wilderness skills coupled with Jewish values. Teva Trekkers will also go on two more exciting trips; a high ropes challenge course at St. Croix that will test the limits of each participant and a hiking and camping overnight at Jay Cooke State Park. Participants are required to come equipped with several items of personal camping gear. A list will be provided in the spring.
