Each camper chooses four activities called Chugim to participate in each day while at camp. Choose the ones you love or try something new! At Herzl Camp, we specialize in creative programming so there’s always a twist and it’s always unique!

| Basketball
Basketball is fun for all campers no matter what skill level. During the basketball chug, campers will get a chance to learn all the necessary skills to become the next Kevin Garnett. Over the course of the session, campers will compete in a variety of activities and games in order to perfect their skills. |
| Biking
Explore the Herzl Camp trails with the wind blowing through your hair! You do not need to worry about bringing your own bikes from home for this chug – bikes will be provided for you! |
| Cheerleading
RAH! RAH! SIS BOOM BAH! Work on cheers, chants and calisthenics. Once you have perfected your routine, head over to one of the Football or Ultimate games and cheer on your favorite team! |
| Diamond Sports
Softball, Kickball, Big Base and more! This chug is all about different games that can be played on a diamond. We will work on skills, run drills, but most important, HAVE FUN! |
| Field Games and Team Building
This chug will be filled with lots of different activities including tag games, ships across the ocean, the human knot, relay races and other fun group activities. |
| Fitness & Yoga
Discover your inner self by learning some basic yoga techniques and working on your physical fitness. Breathing, Cardio Workouts, Jogging and concentration are all part of this great chug. Namaste! |
| Flag Football & Soccer
Perfect your fakes, headers, punts, saves and all the other actions that make Soccer and Flag Football so exciting! Work as a team on learning new skills and finish each day with a scrimmage. |
| Girls Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate Frisbee is a Herzl tradition and this one is for the GIRLS! Ultimate is all about team work, fairness and improving your leadership skills. Even if you have never played a day of Ultimate Frisbee in your life, this chug is great for you! |
| Herzl Extreme Recess
All of the exciting games that you look forward to playing each day on the playground at school have now come to Herzl Camp! Tag, Dodgeball, GaGa, 4 Square and Nuke'em are among the many games that we will play in this chug. Every day is something new! |
| Lacrosse & Disc Golf
Learn the fundamentals of two great games! Do you know what it means to Change Planes? Or to go "Coast to Coast?" Do you know what a pick, pocket or poke check is? How about how to throw a Hyzer or an Anhyzer? A pancake or a Worm Burner? Sign up for this chug if you want to learn what all of these things mean (and play two really fun games)! |
| Night Games
Come play your favorite neighborhood night games, but with Herzl friends. We'll be playing games like capture the flag, kick the can and sharks and minnows. None of the hassle of organizing the games and all the fun! |
| Tennis
Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer…All superstars of tennis dominating the sport year in and year out. Do you want to be like them? Here is your chance! Get a start on perfecting your skills during the tennis chug. In this chug you will learn the basics of tennis plus a few advanced tricks from our very talented staff. Campers will have the opportunity to compete against others in different activities and games while building their tennis skills. |

| World League of Herzl Sports
In this chug, you will be split up into teams (named after countries from around the world) and play different sports such as basketball, softball, ultimate, soccer, football, and nuke ‘em. At the end of the session, all of the teams will participate in a tournament style playoff until one team is remaining - which country will dominate this year? |
